About – Concrete Odes to History

Architecture for the Body. Concrete Reimagined.

They build with concrete — we wear concrete.

Concrete Odes is a material-driven design studio that transforms Nature with raw and recycled concrete into bold, wearable statements. Founded by architect and designer Aya Kirresh, the brand blurs the boundaries between fashion, architecture, sustainability, and narrative design.

While architects shape cities with concrete, we reshape it into personal monuments — rings, pendants, and brooches that carry the texture of walls, the memory of streets, and the poetry of structure. Each piece is handcrafted in our Jerusalem studio, combining architectural precision with material experimentation and artistic storytelling.

This is more than jewelry — it is an audacious self expression .it’s architecture for the body, where material meets movement, structure meets soul, and design becomes wearable art.

We don’t follow trends. We build them — in concrete.

Our Story – From Fragment to Form

A piece of concrete. A new kind of memory.

It started with a fragment — a small piece of concrete, raw and inert. Cold to the touch. Heavy with symbolism. As an architect and visual artist, I saw more than a material — I saw a story waiting to be told.

Concrete Odes began as an exploration of form and memory — of how the materials that shape our cities can be transformed into objects that speak to identity, heritage, and design. We asked: What if this harsh, overlooked material could become delicate? Personal? Intimate?

So we began to cast it — not just as jewelry, but as a medium of expression. Using both raw and recycled concrete, our pieces are crafted through custom molds, pigments, and hand-finishing techniques to evoke the brutal beauty of architecture, the softness of organic forms, and the weight of cultural memory.

This is our ode — to material, to memory, and to the power of design to transform the forgotten into something unforgettable.
